Who we are and what we do
Big Red Cloud Academy was formed to create a space where bookkeepers and businesses alike can learn the practical skills needed to record a business's transactions and understand clearly what those transactions mean. We are here to make you feel fully informed and supported. We are 100% Irish owned and we understand your business like no one else does.

We provide bookkeeping and payroll training for individuals and businesses.
As such, we process data about our Students/Learners, Teachers, Course Managers, and Site Administrators on Big Red Cloud Academy.
Our data processing purposes
To deliver the courses on the learning management platform (Moodle) we need the personal data of learners such as names, email, phone numbers, assignment submissions, results, and messages. We also use this information to prepare reports for certification and invoicing purposes.
We also process learners’ personal data to provide reports and invoices to the Education and Training Board’s (ETB) management company (currently Óiliúna for Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board) and reports when required by SOLAS.
Where we get your data and how long we keep it for
We get your data from the ETB’s management company (currently Óiliúna for Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board) through FetchCourses.ie which you provided when you submitted a web form to apply for a course.
We keep a learner’s personal data for 2 years after the end date of the final course enrolled on by the learner or for the period prescribed by SOLAS and the ETB in question, whichever is longer.
Where we store your data and who we share it with
Big Red Cloud Academy’s Moodle is hosted with Hosting Ireland on servers based in Ireland. We do not share your data with third parties and advertisers. We do however share it with the corresponding ETB’s management company to provide the training service (currently Óiliúna for Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board), to Big Red Cloud Ltd which is the accounting software provider, and when required by state agencies such as the relevant Education and Training Boards and SOLAS.

You have the right to access your personal data; right to rectification; right to be forgotten/erasure; right to restrict processing; right to object; right to refuse automated decision-making and/or profiling; right to portability.
